Please note:An Individual Membership is intended to track the
efforts of a single hunter.
A Blind Membership is intended to track the how a single blind is performing.
Hunt Date- Please enter the date of your hunt.
Location- Enter the name of the area you hunted. Choose a meaningful,
but short name, it will be displayed at the bottom of your location summary
graphs. Please limit it to 12 characters. Once you have entered a location,
the next time you enter a hunt, you can select it from the drop down menu.
Zip Code- Enter the 5-digit zip of the area
you are hunting. Zip codes can be found by clicking on the Zip Code Lookup
link. A new window will open, preserving your data entry page. Using the
USPS page and entering the address of your hunting area, your county and
zip code will be displayed. Usually the last named street you turn off
before reaching your hunting destination will suffice as an address. If
you can’t find the zip code of a street, enter the zip code of the
nearest town in your duck log. The zip code of a town can be found by
using the drop down menu located below the "What are you looking
for?" on the USPS page.
County- Enter the County you are hunting in. County names can
be found using the ZIP Code lookup.
Duration- Duration is the number of hours spent hunting that
day. Note- Ducklog will do the calculations, so if two of you went hunting
from 6:00 to 12:00, you would still enter 6 hours as duration.
Time of Day- Select which time of day a majority of your hunt
was in. If you were out all day, select "All Day"
Weather Condition- Select which was the dominant weather condition
you hunted in.
Wind Direction- Select which direction the wind was from.
Wind Velocity- Select which velocity category the wind was in
for a majority of your hunt.
Number of Hunters- Enter the total number of hunters responsible
for the ducks listed on that log page.
Number of Shells Used- Enter the total number of shells shot
by the hunters to harvest the ducks listed on that log page.
Dog Name- Enter the name of the dog or dogs you brought.
Locale ID- Please only enter values here if you have been issued
them from Ducklog.com
Comments- Enter any comments about the hunt. These comments will
appear in your logbook at the end of the season.
Ducks Shot- Check the box if you didn’t harvest any ducks
during that hunt.
If you did shoot some ducks, you enter the number harvested on the field
on the left. Then select the species from the drop down menu. After the
species is selected you may choose the sex of the birds shot if you would
like. You will need to enter different sexes of the same species on different
lines.
When you are happy with the information you have entered click submit.
Information will be brought up in a table, as well as pie charts of that
days hunt and your season total birds shot. |
