The
birds were coming from the north, taking a look at those newly flooded
fields by the pump and then swinging out into our field and working
the dekes. The Wigeon whistle and Pintail whistle were the calls
to use. HIGHLIGHTS....Jim trying to kill his first Greenhead and
WHIFFING from 15 yards (or less). Should have been "dead duck"
after working the decoys 5 times and floating in for the finish.
That one hurt to watch.
