Hey Guys

Really looking forward to the upcoming season, both in terms of getting out to the blind and the ducklog.com website coming to life.

We are continuing to improve the site and still have some new features we hope to introduce before duck hunting season start, including facebook integration to share your hunt data with friends and family and the ability to edit your existing hunts. The site has been on "cruise control" for so long there and there is SO much to do that I've had to put some significant time into strengthening other parts of the site, but rest assured these new features are coming.

What are you guys looking forward to for the 2010-2011 season? Are their local issues in your area that will  affect ducking hunting? Do you think you'll be able to hunt as much as you would like this year (is this possible?)? Post your thoughts on the upcoming season in this post!

Hey you might want to edit the 2010-2001 to say 2010-2011 season Sorry I am a little anal about things liek that.  Also in years past the current years numbers were spread about the season prior so can you please make sure it is correct beginning in October 2011 so I can track this years numbers seperate.  Ilove the site

As far as the duck hunting seasons, here is a little inside baseball.

The seasons are setup to start on June 1st. I know that seems early but we do a year long season so that if you do happen to enter a hunt in the middle of the off-season, it gets placed in the proper year.

Most years I am late making the new season, but please don't worry, as soon as I make the new season, your hunts will be automatically tracked in the latest season. I do apologize for the seasons always being late. I'm making a real effort to maintain the site, add new features and content on a regular basis and this year the seasons should be updated at the right time.
